About

I’m Brontë, an illustrator and print designer with a background in textiles and education. I studied Textiles at A-level and later built a career as an art teacher, primary school teacher and forest school teacher, working closely with children every day. This experience has deeply shaped my creative practice and given me a strong understanding of what truly excites, comforts and inspires young audiences and indeed adults.

Alongside teaching, I’ve continued to develop my illustration work, both writing and illustrating a children’s book, creating repeat patterns and prints, and exploring character-led, playful designs. I enjoy working across both hand-drawn and digital processes, from sketchbook concepts to refined artwork in Photoshop and Illustrator.

My work is joyful, imaginative and colour-led, often featuring playful characters, florals and textured elements. I’m passionate about creating artwork that feels warm, engaging and meaningful, and I’m excited to continue growing my practice within children’s illustration and print design.
